Job Description Evolve Plumbing LLC is a growing family-owned plumbing company serving the Denver metro area. We are looking for a dependable Plumbing Helper / Apprentice who wants hands-on experience and an opportunity to grow in the plumbing trade. This is a part-time, variable-schedule position . Our workload changes from week to week, so hours are not guaranteed. We expect approximately 8-20 hours per week , with the possibility of additional hours as our workload grows. This position is a good fit for someone attending trade school, working another flexible job, already getting started in plumbing, or someone with construction/mechanical experience who wants to build a career in the plumbing industry. What You'll Do You will work directly alongside experienced plumbers and assist with: Residential and commercial plumbing repairs and installations Toilets, faucets, sinks and other plumbing fixtures Water heater installations Water and drain piping Backflow-related work Remodel and rough-in plumbing Jobsite setup and preparation Loading and unloading tools and materials Material pickups Demolition and cleanup Maintaining a clean and professional work area You will not be expected to work independently as a plumber when starting out . The goal is to learn while working alongside our team and gradually take on more responsibility as your skills develop. What We're Looking For Plumbing experience is preferred, but not required . More important to us is finding someone who is: Dependable and punctual Mechanically inclined Comfortable using basic hand and power tools Willing to learn and take direction Professional around customers Respectful of customers' homes and property Comfortable with physical construction work Able to lift and move plumbing materials and equipment Able to work both indoors and outdoors Able to communicate clearly with the team Has reliable transportation Has a valid driver's license Previous experience in plumbing, construction, HVAC, irrigation, maintenance, automotive/mechanical work or another skilled trade is a plus. Schedule This is a part-time position with variable hours based on scheduled projects and service work. Typically approximately 8-20 hours per week , although some weeks may have fewer or additional hours. This is a part-time, variable-schedule position. Weekly hours are based on Evolve Plumbing's available workload and are not guaranteed. Some weeks may include no scheduled work. The employee remains employed by Evolve Plumbing unless either party ends the employment relationship. We try to provide advance notice whenever possible. This position may work particularly well for someone who has another flexible job, attends school, or is looking to gain experience in the plumbing trade. There is currently no guaranteed minimum number of weekly hours. Pay $20-$22 per hour , depending on experience. Starting pay and future increases will be based on plumbing experience, performance, reliability and progression within the trade. Growth Opportunity We're looking for more than temporary labor.
