This is an entry-level position with hands-on training provided. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, willing to learn, and takes pride in producing clean, high-quality work. Key Responsibilities: Assist with sanding, cleaning, masking, and preparing cabinets for painting. Learn proper use of spray equipment, brushes, rollers, and other painting tools. Apply primers, paints, stains, and clear finishes under supervision. Prepare surfaces by filling holes, repairing imperfections, and performing light prep work. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow safety procedures and properly use personal protective equipment (PPE). Assist experienced painters with cabinet removal, setup, spraying, drying, and finishing. Inspect finished work for defects and touch up as needed. Learn proper handling and cleaning of painting equipment. Perform other shop and job-site duties as assigned. Qualifications: No previous cabinet-painting experience required; training will be provided. Willingness to learn professional painting and finishing techniques. Strong attention to detail. Reliable attendance and a positive attitude. Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks. Ability to lift and move cabinets and materials as needed. Previous experience in painting, woodworking, construction, or manufacturing is a plus but not required.
