This is an entry-level position where you will work alongside experienced plumbers and technicians while learning residential and commercial plumbing installation, repair, maintenance, and service work. Pay & Advancement Starting pay: $10.00 per hour Opportunity for a $1.00 per hour raise each month during the first year , based on attendance, performance, reliability, work ethic, and continued improvement. This provides an opportunity to advance from $10.00/hour up to $22.00/hour during the first year for an apprentice who consistently meets expectations. Additional advancement opportunities are available as plumbing skills and experience increase. Responsibilities Assist plumbers with residential and commercial plumbing work. Carry tools, materials, fixtures, and equipment to and from job sites. Assist with installation of water, sewer, drain, waste, vent, and gas piping. Assist with installing toilets, faucets, water heaters, sinks, disposals, and other plumbing fixtures. Learn proper use of plumbing tools and equipment. Assist with digging, trenching, demolition, cleanup, and job-site preparation. Maintain clean and organized work areas, trucks, tools, and equipment. Follow company procedures and all job-site safety requirements. Learn to identify plumbing materials, fittings, piping, and fixtures. Follow instructions from lead plumbers, supervisors, and project managers. Arrive to work on time and prepared for the workday. Work occasional weekends when project schedules or service needs require it. Qualifications Valid driver's license required. Must have a reliable means of getting to work. Must be able to pass a background check . Must be dependable and have a strong work ethic. Must be willing to learn the plumbing trade. Must be able to follow instructions and work as part of a team. Must be comfortable working indoors and outdoors in different weather conditions. Must be able to lift and carry plumbing materials, tools, and equipment. Must be willing to perform physical work including climbing, bending, kneeling, digging, and working in crawlspaces or other confined work areas when required. Plumbing or construction experience is helpful but not required . What We Are Looking For We are looking for someone who wants more than just a job. Monday through Friday with some weekend work required based on workload and project schedules. Sales bonus and commission opportunities available for identifying legitimate plumbing repairs, upgrades, replacements, memberships, and additional services needed by customers.
