An Electric Motor Mechanic is responsible for repairing a wide range of electromechanical equipment, including electric motors, pumps and related assemblies. The process begins by reading job cards to determine job status, work authorizations and the nature of reported problems. Job Includes: ASsessments Assembly and Disassembly Troubleshooting Documentation and equipment operation This role is suited for individuals with mechanical aptitude, attention to detail and a desire to work in a hands-on, team-oriented environment. Skills Proven experience as a motor mechanic or millwright. Relevant motor experience may include: automotive, electrical, small engines, HVAC work, Industrial plant work, etc. Aptitude in using various hand tools and precision measurement tools (e.g. calipers) Ability to follow established procedures and practices and read instruction, blueprints etc. A strong commitment to all health and safety guidelines A problem-solving ability High school diploma is preferred; Certification from a vocational school or completion of apprenticeship is a definite plus Knowledge of industrial electro-mechanical systems is very beneficial, including: Basic working knowledge of most industrial electro-mechanical equipment Previous experience in an industrial facility or servicing industrial customers Job Type: Full-time Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Retirement plan License/Certification: driver's license?
