un ⚐ ⚑ ⚑ Field Cabinet Installer - Helper/Apprentice (Harrisburg) California Closets 5400 Paxton St. compensation: $15-$20 per hour based on experience employment type: job title: Installer Title: Installation Helper/Apprentice Reports to: Installation Manager and/or Operations Manager Status: Full-time, Non-exempt Job Summary: Based on provided designs and components, construct, erect, install, and repair custom storage systems and accessories using laminate wood, edge-banding, hardware and other materials, requiring your skills with hand tools and power tools. Training is provided. Duties and Responsibilities: Perform skilled and semi-skilled carpentry work to install custom storage systems such as closets, cabinets, offices, and other spaces in the home or commercial buildings. Utilize company provided CAD drawings\blueprints to properly and efficiently install systems. Helper, Apprentice, level proficiency with specific product installation procedures. Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Responsible for driving to and from customer sites and maintaining company provided vehicles in a safe manner. Report any vehicle problems to the company immediately. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Installer and/or Supervisor. Qualifications: Must maintain valid driver's license and clean driving record High School diploma or equiv. Entry level; On the job training Ability and desire to learn Experience with common hand and power tools Trade or vocational school experience desirable Cabinetry or carpentry skills and/or experience installing beneficial. Must have ability to read, understand and check plans. Strong verbal and written communication and listening skills Must adhere to attendance standards and report to work on time each morning.
