In this role as a Vehicle Technician Data Collection Apprentice, you will partner with specialists to build the essential repair solutions, service documentation, and measurement data that collision shops across the globe rely on. Your Responsibilities
Help generate and verify measurement data for both existing and upcoming vehicle platforms.
Ensure the accuracy of vehicle positioning, identifying measurement points, and gathering clamping data.
Partner with internal teams and automotive OEM engineering groups to achieve project goals.
Engage in studies focused on vehicle serviceability and various testing initiatives.
Contribute to the creation of service information by reviewing product manuals.
Validate designs for vehicle mounting and clamping systems.
Determine the necessary fixtures, clamps, and tooling required for standard collision repair tasks.
Take part in analyzing competitive benchmarks.
Keep precise records and technical documentation for all data collected.
Drive improvements in repair efficiency and serviceability through your project contributions.
