This paid apprenticeship offers hands-on experience working alongside seasoned technicians to develop your skills in HVAC system installation, repair, and maintenance. You'll gain comprehensive knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical diagnostics, plumbing, and building automation systems. Responsibilities Assist in installing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems including air conditioning units, furnaces and boilers. Learn to interpret schematics and HVAC design plans to support system installation and troubleshooting efforts. Support senior technicians. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and properly handling hand tools, and other mechanical repair tools. Skills Graduated from and HVAC School Program is required. Experience as a service technician or field service role is highly desirable. HVAC/R troubleshooting, and equipment repair techniques and familiarity with electrical systems diagnostics. Hands-on experience with hand tools and mechanical systems repair is preferred. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. EPA certification or willingness to obtain certification for refrigerant handling is required. Understanding of building automation systems (BAS) and electrical systems related to HVAC is advantageous. Mechanical knowledge related to boilers, air conditioning units, and refrigeration enhances your qualifications. Apply today!
