We're looking for a motivated Warehouse Associate who takes pride in doing quality work, enjoys staying active, and wants an opportunity to grow. This position is more than a warehouse job. For the right individual, it can become the first step toward a rewarding career through our B & L Glass Glazier Apprenticeship Program , where you'll learn the trade while working alongside experienced professionals. What You'll Do Receive, unload, inspect, and organize incoming material deliveries. Safely move and stage glass, aluminum, hardware, windows, doors, and other construction materials. Prepare materials and equipment for field installation crews. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and yard. Assist with inventory organization and material tracking. Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely. Use basic hand tools and warehouse equipment. Make local deliveries and material pickups using company vehicles. Communicate with office staff and field crews regarding deliveries and material needs. Perform other warehouse and shop duties as assigned. What We're Looking For Self-motivated with a strong work ethic. Reliable, punctual, and dependable. Organized with strong attention to detail. Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment. Able to communicate professionally with coworkers and customers. Basic computer skills for looking up orders and entering delivery notes. Safety-minded in all aspects of the job. Qualifications Valid California Driver's License with a clean driving record. Forklift experience preferred (training available for the right candidate). Experience using hand tools. Warehouse or construction experience preferred. Knowledge of glass, glazing systems, windows, doors, aluminum storefront, or hardware is a plus but not required. Physical Requirements Frequently lift, carry, and move materials weighing 50 pounds or more. Stand, bend, lift, and walk throughout an 8-hour workday. Work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Safely handle large and fragile glass materials. Career Growth At B & L Glass, we believe in promoting from within.
