Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and dependable Commercial Plumbing Apprentice to join our growing team. This position is ideal for individuals looking to build a long-term career in the plumbing trade while gaining hands-on experience in commercial construction projects. The apprentice will work under the supervision of licensed plumbers and foremen to learn installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial plumbing systems while following all safety standards and company procedures. This position may require travel and working out of town for select projects as needed. Key Responsibilities: Assist licensed plumbers and foremen with the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial plumbing systems Learn to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and plumbing drawings Measure, cut, thread, and assemble piping using hand and power tools Assist with installation of fixtures, valves, pumps, and plumbing equipment Help test plumbing systems for leaks and proper operation Load, unload, and organize materials, tools, and equipment at job sites Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Follow all safety regulations, company policies, and job site requirements Attend required training and apprenticeship classes (if applicable) Work closely with team members to complete projects on schedule Travel out of town for assigned commercial projects, including overnight stays when required Perform other duties as assigned to support project completion Qualifications: Previous construction or plumbing experience is a plus, but not required Strong willingness to learn and develop plumbing trade skills Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude Basic knowledge of hand and power tools preferred Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred Ability and willingness to travel for project assignments Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry up to 50+ lbs Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces Ability to work in varying weather and job site conditions Ability to travel and stay overnight for extended project durations if necessary What We Offer: Competitive pay based on experience Per diem / travel accommodations for out-of-town projects (if applicable) On-the-job training and career development Apprenticeship advancement opportunities Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays Start your plumbing career with a company committed to training, development, and building skilled professionals for long-term success in the commercial plumbing industry. .
