Automotive Apprenticeship Group (AAG) is looking for an Apprentice and Dealer Success Manager to support our San Diego into Orange County CA. This role is the cornerstone of success to the AAG Apprenticeship model and works one on one with both apprentices and our dealer partners to ensure top quality program value and customer/apprentice satisfaction. Who we are looking for: If you have a proven track record in managing/developing young adults, coaching established adults upskilling for career growth, building professional relationships, balancing multiple caseloads/accounts, and providing transparent feedback, we would love to meet you! This is a field-based role with some office work. As well as an apprentice manager you will: Create and foster the relationship between AAG and the apprentice in the field. **AAG mentor's work hands on with apprentices to help them achieve their career goals and graduate with a Journeyman Certificate from the U.S. Department of Labor** Work to remove the obstacles that challenge apprentices while undergoing their education. Mentoring people throughout the term of their Apprenticeship and conducting routine field visits, reviews, and feedback sessions. Completing administrative tasks and field notes to keep detailed and accurate case reporting. Build networks to ensure that the brand is well represented in the market. Communicate effectively with apprentices in the field as well as their host employers. Deliver feedback, both positive and negative, to help grow apprentices both personally and professionally. Organize class cohorts and work closely with education and training providers to ensure effective schedules, track attendance, and align students with a graduation pathway. Technical automotive experience is not necessary, but is a plus!! The role: All apprentices in our program benefit from the support of a one-on-one mentor. Mentorship is a cornerstone of the AAG program and an important step in preparing apprentices for success. AAG mentors manage the apprentice progress and host dealership relationships within our network of franchised dealerships, as well as the education, on the job training and mentored support of every apprentice to ensure each apprentice is fully prepared for a long-term career. The Apprentice manager will work with a caseload of apprentices to help them stay on track to complete their apprenticeship and assist with engagement, retention, overall experience, and remove obstacles to help our apprentices be successful.
