This is a **hands-on position** working with horses of different ages and stages of training. You will learn our training system while working alongside experienced horsemen and women. ### What You Will Learn & Do * Daily groundwork and handling of horses * Working with young horses from the ground through riding * Developing confidence, manners, balance, and responsiveness * Assisting with starting and training young horses * Working with mares, foals, and young stallions * Grooming, feeding, turnout, and general horse care * Maintaining a clean and safe barn and work areas * Assisting with breeding and foaling activities * Helping prepare horses for sale and evaluation * Learning how to recognize and address training problems * Following a consistent, progressive training program ### Our Training Philosophy We believe horses should be given time to develop properly rather than being rushed. Our young horses receive extensive groundwork and handling before progressing to riding. We focus on creating horses that are **safe, confident, willing, balanced, and well-mannered**.
