**Maintenance Apprentice** **2nd Shift** **Overview** **Join our team as a Maintenance Apprentice and learn to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial equipment while building valuable mechanical and technical skills.** **Pay & Growth** + Starting pay: **$18/hour** + **$1/hour raise every month** during the apprenticeship program + Opportunity to earn up to **$22/hour** upon successful completion of the program and permanent hire **Responsibilities** + Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical equipment. + Perform preventive maintenance and routine equipment inspections. + Assist with machine installations and electrical maintenance. + Support mold changes, equipment cleaning, and machine repairs. + Help maintain curing presses, air compressors, tools, and filters. + Complete basic fabrication tasks and learn welding techniques. **Requirements** + Mechanical aptitude and interest in maintenance work. + Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, hand tools, or electrical systems preferred. + Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. + Basic computer skills and knowledge of safety procedures (LOTO) are a plus. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mocksville, NC. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
