Chimney Sweep Apprentice/Technician Requirements: Must be able to work on Ladders, Rooftops, and with power tools. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. 2 years of some type of construction trade experience preferred but not required. Must have a valid driver's license. (Deal Breaker) Must be reliable and punctual. Job Description: Assist Technicians with on job site work. Sweep and repair chimneys. Bring materials, tools, equipment onto rooftops. Learn the trade and learn how to use the online system. We would like all of our apprentices to have a willingness to learn the trade. In the south, there are few chimney sweeps, and it is a great trade to learn. You will have access to different methods of installation, repair, and onsite training for all different types of chimneys. Each day is different, and you may not assist the same Technician every day, so you can get a feel for all the different types of jobs we perform.
