On-the-job training
  • Develop operating strategies, detailed project plans, or procedures with designated project personnel
    • Participate in the development and/or update of project plans including information such as objectives with the various project components, technologies, schedules, funding, and staffing
    • Participate in the proposal, review, and/or approval of modifications to current project plans.
    • Participate in vendor selection/evaluation and owner, architect/ contractor meetings
    • Participate in the planning, scheduling, and coordination of project meetings and activities to meet deadlines
    • Communicate with team members to determine project requirements and objectives
  • Participate in the assignment of duties and work schedules of project personnel
    • Participate in the forward planning of project schedules and coordination with contractors/subcontractors.
  • Coordinate resource procurement activities.
    • Collaborate with team members in the negotiation process with project vendors/subcontractors to obtain resources and/or materials

  • Participate in the reporting of information to managers or other personnel
    • Assist in the reporting of project statuses; e.g., such as budgets, resources, technical issues, or customer satisfaction or concerns to project personnel
    • Confer with project personnel to identify and resolve problems
