Assemble, install, test, or maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment.
Install simple wiring circuitry for common electrical equipment in commercial applications.
Install conduit, pipes, or tubing, inside designated partitions, walls, or other concealed areas.
Pull insulated wires or cables through the conduit to complete circuits between boxes.
Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures, using hand tools or power tools.
Use of analog and digital multimeters and non-contact voltage tester.
Assist with the maintenance, repair, and replacement of electrical equipment and apparatus
Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, or components.
Follow blueprints to determine the location of wiring or equipment.
Inspect electrical systems, equipment, or components to identify hazards, defects, or the need for adjustment or repair.
Install ground leads and connect power cables to equipment.
Installation of building lighting control systems including motion sensing, daylight harvesting, diming control, and timeclocks.
Installation of building lighting systems.
Layout and install electrical conduit systems consisting of rigid steel, electrical metalic tubing, non-metallic conduit (PVC), and prefabricated bus duct.
