As a student at the Independent Electrical Contractors, Southern Colorado Chapter, you can work full-time as an electrical apprentice, attending class one evening per week from 5:30pm to 9:30pm. There are opportunities for high school graduates interested in a career in the electrical industry, those in need of a career change, or experienced electrical apprentices. Once you become a Journeyworker or Master electrician, the Chapter provides continuing education to help keep your license and knowledge up to date. (We are not a job placement service, but can help you with your job search! You are not required to work in the electrical field to attend classes with us.)
